Electronic Poker is a popular game that usually will be wagered on in casinos throughout the world, or in your house on your PC, using an Internet connection. The rules are very simple and consist of the player attempting to achieve the highest mixture of cards possible in order to win money. On this account it’s very similar as a regular game of poker, minus the interaction with any other players. The game of Video Poker begins when the bettor puts credits (either tokens, tickets or cash) into the video poker machine and presses the play button. A 5 card hand will be electronically ‘given out’ on the video screen.

The Video Poker machine also has buttons with ‘hold’ printed on them, and gamblers will need to now decide which cards to hold and which to discard. For the cards the gambler wishes to keep, the ‘hold’ buttons must be pressed so that they illuminate. The player can decide to keep any amount of cards they want, whether it’s all or none.

After the bettor has decided on which cards she wishes to keep, they should press ‘draw’, at which point any new cards will be given out if desired. The round is now finished, with the Electronic Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands listed in the payment schedule.

Generally, the minimum winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money getting larger for each better hand. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the pay out schedule can range from machine to machine, so that experienced gamblers are agile enough to choose the most beneficial ones each time.

After the initial round has completed, the player can either choose to remain on in an attempt to maximize their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any credits that might been won. Further, a few styles of the game give the bettor an opportunity to increase their profits, in which case a further game is played. There are also differences between specific games, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other varying characteristics to increase playability.
